Where we work.
We work out of Blue Springs and cover about a 30-mile radius of Blue Springs — reaching about forty miles at the far edges, out to Concordia, Plattsburg, Eudora and Harrisonville. Below is every community inside that, with its real distance from our base.
Three counties, one truck.
Jackson County
Home county and the middle of our week. Blue Springs is our base, and Independence, Lee’s Summit, Kansas City and the eastern suburbs are all inside twenty minutes of it — which is where most of the beds, borders and cleanups in our gallery were built.
Our base is in Blue Springs. →8 communitiesLafayette County
Due east along I-70 and the river road. Small towns, big lots and open exposure, running out to Concordia at the far edge of how far we go.
East along I-70. Concordia is our eastern limit. →8 communitiesClay County
North of the river through Gladstone, Liberty and out to Kearney and Smithville. A mix of close-in mid-century suburbs and newer subdivision, with a lot of builder-grade foundation planting that has outgrown its beds.
North of the Missouri River. →4 communitiesRay County
Northeast across the river through Orrick and Richmond. Rural, river-bottom country where lots get large and the wind does more landscaping than anyone would like.
Northeast, across the Missouri. →2 communitiesClinton County
The far northern edge of our range, up around Lathrop and Plattsburg. Small towns and acreage properties, and the outer limit of a comfortable run from Blue Springs.
Plattsburg is our northern limit. →6 communitiesPlatte County
The northwest side of the metro around Parkville, Riverside and the lake communities. Rolling, wooded ground, which means more retaining wall and slope work here than almost anywhere else we go.
Northwest metro. →7 communitiesCass County
The south edge of the metro — Belton, Raymore and out to Harrisonville, one of the four towns the client named as the far edge of the service area. Bigger lots, more open exposure, and full sun driving the plant list.
South metro. Harrisonville is our southern limit. →11 communitiesJohnson County
The Kansas side of the metro — Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa and the older Shawnee Mission suburbs. Deep, established landscapes on the north end and fast newer building on the south, and the same clay underneath all of it.
Kansas side of the state line. →3 communitiesWyandotte County
Kansas City, Kansas and the western edge out through Bonner Springs. Older, established neighborhoods with mature canopy, where the work is usually restoring beds rather than designing them from nothing.
Kansas side, north. →1 communitiesDouglas County
The southwestern edge of our range at Eudora — the farthest point the client named, and the outer limit of a sensible run west.

This list is where we regularly work, not a fence. If you are a little past the edge of it, call — the answer is often yes, sometimes with a particular day attached so we can group the trip.
